What it takes
Since this is a real wilderness race that will lead you 600km trough rough terrain, partially unmarked trails, areas with no cell service and distances of up to 160km between checkpoints, you need to be very self sufficient and comfortable in rough circumstances. This is a real expedition and we don't have a trail crew on standby to assist you in case you have some issues. Therefore you will need good knowledge of outdoor survival and camping out with a dog team for several days.
Only teams that have at least once finished Femund 650 or Finnmark 1200 will be considered to join this race. Please contact Petter Karlsson if you are interested into taking part in the ACE, and after talking to you he will decide if you have what it takes to join this race.
